When the day slows down and the valley lights up

From scenic overlooks in the Boise foothills to quiet shoreline views at Lucky Peak, these local spots offer some of the best places to take it all in.

Other Boise Sunset Spots

The sun dipping behind the Boise foothills, is a sight hard to froget, and this is why many locals never get tired of chasing the golden hour glow. While the well-known spots are always worth the visit, some of the best sunsets are found in the quieter corners. Pulling off along Cartwright RD in the foothills, catching peaceful views near the top of Bogus Basin RD, or even stumbling upon an open field view in Kuna where the sky seems to stretch forever.
